Click Clack

I find knitting to be such a soothing activity, the click clack of the needles, the feeling of the texture of the wool sliding between my fingers, the changing weight as the item takes shape.

As I knit I can shut the world out. A large part of knitting is muscle memory, which is part of why it is so soothing, there is little need to think!

Currently I am using up odd ends of balls of wool to make squares, which I will then attach all together into a queen sized blanket for my bed. I expect it to take a couple of years to complete, as I am only using leftover wool, for a patchwork effect, rather than buying new balls.
