Today I am linking up with Sandra over at Diary Of A Stay At Home Mom, for Happy Homemaker Monday.

For Spring, this is just awful!

Right Now I Am…

Contemplating buying a medium sized pool for Timmy to splash around in.

On My Reading Pile…

I am currently on a book buying ban. I have about thirty five books on my TBR pile, both physical and on the Kindle. Currently looking to start “Vampires Like It Hot” by Lynsay Sands, and “Fix Her Up” by Tessa Bailey, both Kindle bargains recently.

On My TV…

The Great British Bake Off.

On The Menu This Week…

Monday: Grilled sausages and salad.

Tuesday: Grilled fish and steamed vegetables.

Wednesday: Steamed vegetables and cheese sauce.

Thursday: Individual beef pies with steamed vegetables.

Friday: My son has youth group on Fridays, so an easy spaghetti bolognaise tonight.

Saturday: Roast chicken and gravy with steamed vegetables.

Sunday: If Its (if it is there you can eat it).

On My To Do List…

Edit my manuscript.

Finalise the grocery list for Christmas.

Go to the post office.

Finalise the list for the last few trinkets I need to get for Christmas (stocking stuffers and advent fillers mostly).

Start planning for Elf on the Shelf.

Really decide if I want to try and have a party for my 30th next year. If yes, start planning so people can organize travel.

What I Am Sewing, Creating or Crafting…

More piecing and sewing of the crazy quilt.

More cutting and piecing of my sons patchwork quilt.

More cutting for my nine patch blocks.

Some Christmas Dotee dolls.

A Christmas wall hanging for a friend.

ATC’s for Christmas.

Wooden advent calendars for Wyatt and myself.

A tentative birthday party invitation for me for next year.

Homemaking Tip…

Wipe down the inside of your fridge with vanilla to eliminate smells.

Looking Around My House…

I am starting to slowly declutter and get ready for Christmas.

From My Camera…

The corner of my desk makes me happy to look at.

Your book ban made me chuckle because I have so many books on my pile to read, and yet can’t resist buying a good book. lol

I’ve bought my first Christmas present today, but definitely need to get on the ball.

    Have a great week.

Your book ban reminds me of my youngest! Everywhere I have stopped by today has talked about preparing for Christmas or being excited! I think it is time to get my tree out! I hope you have a blessed week ahead!

I’ve fallen victim to more than my fair share of those Kindle bargain books. The library helps me keep the temptation of buying physical books in check. I can see why your desk corner makes you happy, looks very cheerful. Hope you have a wonderful week & yes, plan your party!

As you can see, I’m running a week behind. I need to go on a book buying ban, too. I’ve got so many books in my reading pile and have hardly had time to read here lately. I hope to do better this week, so, hopefully, I’ll see you again tomorrow! 🙂
