Happy Homemaker Monday

Today I am linking up with Sandra over at Diary Of A Stay At Home Mom, for Happy Homemaker Monday.
d75a58b8dc30a275bb0ae1e281fdd130The Weather…

Weirdly warm again!

On The Breakfast Plate This Morning…

My usual cup of lukewarm coffee and some Vegemite toast.

Right Now I Am…

Adding items to my Amazon wishlist and thinking about getting dinner ready.

On My Bedside Table…

My phone charger.

On My Reading Pile…

A Kindle full of books, and two shelves full of paperbacks.

Movies Or Shows I Watched This Weekend…

Little Baby Bum on Netflix.

The Living Room on free to air.

On My TV This Week…

The Lego Movie 2.

Call The Midwife if there are any new episodes uploaded.

On The Menu This Week…

Monday: Tonight is Territory Day (the only day of the year you can legally buy and set off fireworks in Australia without a licence) and we are having our traditional Territory Day meal, a ‘cowboy meal’ (named when my teen was a toddler) consisting of baked beans, mashed potatoes, sausages, corn on the cob, bread rolls and hot cocoa. We shall be rugging up and sitting outside to watch the display.

Tuesday: Spaghetti bolognaise.

Wednesday: Chicken nuggets and steamed vegetables.

Thursday: Rice A Riso.

Friday: Savoury mince with steamed vegetables with cheese sauce.

Saturday: Roast chicken with roast vegetables.

Sunday: If its (if it is there, you can have it).

On My To Do List…

Edit my manuscript.

Do my entries for three writing competitions.

In The Craft Basket…

More piecing and sewing of the crazy quilt.

An updated version of a patchwork quilt for my son (the one he has had since he was a toddler has started to disintegrate, so I am piecing a new one and have packed up the other one).

A few sewing projects for Christmas gifts.

Looking Forward To…

Starting another writing course, this one is about crime writing.

Looking Around My House…

I really need to move the loungeroom back to normal.

From My Camera…

I took this cute snap the day I found out that this cutie pie would be staying with me until September 2020. What a blessing he is to my life!

What I Am Wearing Today…

Track pants, singlet, skivvy, jumper, slippers, beanie, fluoro pink socks. Or, as my son would say, my house uniform!

My Simple Pleasure…

Hanging out with my boys. It doesn’t have to be anything special, just vegging in bed while we watch Netflix is super fun.

Favourite Quote…

We worry about what a child will become tomorrow, yet we forget that he is already someone today!

Great quote! So very true. Wonderful picture. Hope you have a great time tonight watching the fireworks and have a fantastic week ahead!

Adorable picture! And GREAT quote about children. I have always talked to them like they are “people” from when they are young – love watching how their minds work. Love the description of your “house uniform”. Have a safe Territory Day and great rest of the week.

Oooh, a crime writing class sounds like it would be really interesting. I have a journalism degree and a true-crime obsession. Definitely sounds like something I’d choose! Adorable photo – what a smile! Hope you enjoyed the fireworks!!!

As you can see, I’m running way behind this week! Territory Day sounds lovely and the ‘cowboy meal’ delicious! I hope that you and your family enjoyed it! And what a handsome lil’ man! You are blessed indeed! See you again tomorrow and blessings! ❤
