Arctic! Apparently all of Australia is experiencing an arctic blast, with temperatures below freezing.

On My Reading Pile…

A pile of penpal letters!

On My TV…

Play School with the little one, and Flinch on Netflix with the big one. Looking forward to starting Lucifer season 4 on the weekend.

On My Plate For Dinner Tonight…

Rice a Riso.

On The Menu This Week…

Tuesday: Band practice for Wyatt, so something easy like grilled cheese on toast.

Wednesday: Wyatt has his audition for the Queensland Opera Company, so again something easy. Probably spaghetti bolognaise.

Thursday: Pizza!

Friday: Grilled fish with steamed vegetables.

Saturday: If It’s (If it is there you can have it).

Sunday: Meatloaf with steamed vegetables.

On My To Do List…

Dust the nursery.

Dust my bedroom.

Edit manuscript.

Reply to my penpals.

Make a shopping list.

In The Craft Basket…

Finish cutting out quilt pieces.

Make flip book.

Looking Around My House…

I see baby toys and happy mess all around, and I am content.

From My Camera…

Photo’s of my sweet Timothy, who has me completely smitten and considering a second baby. I have had him for a few weeks now, and at this stage he will be leaving us on Wednesday, although he will remain in my heart forever.

My Simple Pleasure…

Writing letters, the old fashioned way, with pen and paper lol!

Penpal letters! my don’t remember the last time I received a handwritten letter (I do get some at Christmas though). It was so much fun receiving cards by mail (instead of only bills!)
Lovely child you had with you.
Hope you have a great week

I used to have a pen pal and high school & then we lost touch. Been a long time! I always enjoyed getting her letters. Be nice to get a letter in the mail instead of an electric bill or useless junk. Is the show Lucifer scary? I’m tempted by it sometimes but I don’t do scary shows. Hope you have a wonderful week!

I’m running a bit behind this week, but here I finally am! LOL! Wow! An arctic blast! How cool is THAT??? (pun not intended) Penpal lettters??? I LOVE penpalling! At one time I had over a hundred penpals. Now…I have none! Where do you come up with them? There used to be a magazine called LADIES CIRCLE and that’s where I used to find mine. I soooo enjoyed it! The internet’s great, but, I tell you! There is NOTHING like receiving a handwritten letter in the mail! Sounds fun! Blessings for a great rest of the week and weekend! ❤
