In honour of Grief Awareness Month (August), the Hunter Writers Centre is once again running their Grieve Writing Competition.
Entry is free, and open to any Australian, living here or overseas. Entries close on 15 May 2019.
They accept poems up to 36 lines, or stories of up to 500 words. They publish approx. 110 articles in their annual anthology, and you can read previous entries here.
There are a variety of prizes on offer, donated by both businesses and families ‘in memorandum’, with a prize pool of over $7000.
