Recipe I Want To Try…

This week I am going to attempt to make some French macarons for my son. He adores them, a highlight from our Paris holiday was going into the many patisseries for ‘just one’ macaron. Well, that and the Eiffel Tower made entirely out of macarons, in the lobby of the actual Eiffel Tower. He still claims that as his best day ever. I don’t care how many attempts it takes, I am determined to learn to make French macarons as a treat for him.

On My To Do List…

Apply for university scholarships.

Apply for a freelance writing job.

Drop off some items to the charity shop.

Buy stamps.

Finish cutting out my quilt pieces.

Design my fairy garden.

In The Craft Basket…

A lime green and black quilt I am making for my son, to match his room.

Bunting for my kitchen window.

Another stash of Easter cards.

Looking Around My House…

I need to dust all of the ceiling fans.

From My Camera…

I made a cute little place card this week, by using my Stampin’ Up Big Shot, and only cutting half of the teapot die. Then I simply folded the back down and added a few flowers and the word. I love it, and am already thinking about what to make for the Christmas table from the dies I have.

My Simple Pleasure…

Instagram. I just love seeing what people have made, and where they live in the world. Feel free to comment below with your Instagram name.

I need to dust my ceiling fans as well. Not a fun job so I put it off too long. Good luck with the macarons. Hope they turn out on the very first try and you have a wonderful week!
