Today I am linking up with Sandra over at Diary Of A Stay At Home Mom, for Happy Homemaker Monday.

Is crazy hot, with today expecting to hit 40 degrees Celsius.

Things That Make Me Happy…

Having one of my Instagram posts shared by an Australian magazine’s Instagram account made me super happy this week!

As I Look Out My Window…

It is the middle of the night in Australia, so the shadows of the trees are playing on the grass, and the moon is glinting off the dog’s pool.

On My Reading Pile…

Raspberry Danish Murder by Joanne Fluke. I picked this up while I was away on a cruise, and am yet to read it. It sounded really funny and interesting, a bit like a female version of Sherlock Holmes, if he were a middle aged woman muddling through life. This book is number 22 in the series, although it seems to be a stand alone title, which is good as I have never read any of the others.

On My TV…

God Friended Me. Actually we watched this last night, but I enjoyed it so much that I intend to re-watch it on my on demand device. I am still working my way through my Buffy DVDs, with seasons 6 and 7 still to watch.

On My Plate For Dinner Tonight…

Ribbon fettucine with a bolognaise sauce.

On The Menu This Week…

With the weather being as disgustingly hot as it currently is, I am loving meals that I can cook without the use of my oven. So anything done in the electric frying pan, or on the sandwich press is great.

Monday: Ribbon fettucine with a bolognaise sauce (electric frying pan).

Tuesday: Sausages (sandwich press) with steamed vegetables (hot plate) .

Wednesday: Shepherd’s pie (oven).

Thursday: Steamed vegetables (hot plate).

Friday: Sausage and vegetable casserole (electric frying pan).

Saturday: Toasted sandwiches.

Sunday: Steamed vegetables (hot plate).

On My To Do List…

Finish writing my pen pal letters.

Apply for scholarships.

Finish putting up Christmas decorations.

Make a decision about selling the house or not.

New Recipe I Want To Try Soon…

Non alcoholic grasshopper slice.

In The Craft Basket…

Not exactly in the craft basket as such, but still…

Paint my kitchen cupboard doors.

Paint son’s bedroom door

Paint nursery.

Looking Forward To This Week…

Finding out the results of my son’s diagnostic tests.

On My Mind…

Thinking about if I should sell this house or not. Moving is a scary prospect, and I do not like change, but still…

Wondering how many more radiation therapy sessions my mum will need to have before being declared to be in remission.

From My Camera…

5Wai O Tapu

A sulphur pool in New Zealand, it was just as I imagined it would be. This photo I took shows all the different colours at once. This particular pool is called the Artists Palette.

Christmas decorations? oh lucky you! can’t even get to the attic right now to get them down as the garage is full and the attic door is there. Hoping to do it the weekend of Nov 17 or 24.
Sending postiive thoughts for your mom & son

GORGEOUS photo from your camera! I LOVE your quote too. A LOT of the Joanna Fluke books can be read as stand alones and are quite entertaining. Your heat would be too much for me even in the summer – I’m loving our cooler fall here. Have a GREAT week.

Neat photo. So glad to know it’s warm and sunny somewhere in the world! I saw a promo for that show and thought it looked interesting, perhaps I’ll check it out. Hope you have a wonderful week!
